What is Navy Blue?

Hi all,

If you do a Google image search for a Navy Blue Suit you'll get a variety of "Navy Blues". Is there a standard for Navy Blue in terms of shade and colour?

Navy blue is dark yet light, just perfect navy.

Like the Royal Navy uniform color. such a dark blue its almost black.
