They look like casuals, that's from the 80's. They were a different breed from chav's. Casuals could look quite smart. That looks like the prelude or aftermath to a football game. They'd dress smarter away from the game.

I used to love that show. They had Thatcher and his....er....her ...oleaginous, sycophantic cronies off to a tee.

Good description"”it's coming back to me.

The Sergio Tacchini's at the back are definitively 80's...

The casuals and their Lacoste,Fila,Fred Perry and other designer labels.

[IMG] Ronnie Corbett (on the left) is a very smart, dapper dresser. Ronnie Barker (on the right) was wonderfully talented.

I work in a sports college, the staff even call me 'posh' because i tuck in my shirt. some students asked me if i'm gay because i wear....

You're on the right track, if you ask me. I always tucked my shirt in when I was in school, and I wish I had started much earlier with proper shoes.[IMG]

I can't believe this thread has gone so long and no one's posted any of Connery's Bond suits. I was sure it was a given but am happy to leave Steed in the spotlight.
