What is Dolce Gabbana Ventanni?

Okay! So here is the thing. I've never owned any D&G items. My uncle gave me Dolce Gabbana suit yesterday. The label says 'Dolce Gabbana Ventanni' (Like in the picture below) 'Made in Romania'.
I am wondering if this is fake or is there a DG line called Ventanni? Is it older line?
Shouldn't it says Made In Italy on the neck instead of Made In Romania in the pocket?

Why would someone go to the trouble of counterfeiting an Italian brand and then slapping Made in Romania on it?

In fact many Italian fashion brands now have manufacturing in Romania. Romanians make very good clothes, including shoes for top brands, at much lower labor costs.

By contrast, if actually made in Italy it would probably be made by Chinese laborers in a factory outside Naples.

This is the modern reality of upscale fashion brands, which trade on their name recognition to undiscerning customers. It’s more of a problem in women’s wear.
