What is Allen Edmonds sleekest shoe?

I have the Soho and the Weybridge in 10D. I find that the Soho is a little blobbier than I would like, but the Weybridge I find quite sleek. It's my favorite of the AEs.

In my not-inconsiderable experience with A-Es, I find the #5 last (used for the Park Avenue, Strand, and Fifth Avenue inter alia) hands-down the sleekest.

Good post, Scoob.

For the right price, I'll sell you my artist's Proofs, signed and dated, of both "Goodyear welted styles" and "handsewn styles"

I believe these works are either from A. Edmonds' fiberboard or corrected grain periods. Works from both periods appraise similarly so taking a shot in the dark at the exact period isn't much of a risk.

I agree, but the prices on AEs are low enough to make me reconsider. C&Js cost 2x or more than what AEs cost, and one has to make budgetary decisions with these things. I'd love to get a MTO Vass and a few Lobbs too, but that's just not happening.

Anything on the 0 last will be comparatively sleek.

I have one called the Ashton in chili I like quite a bit, but that has a lot to do with how well it fits my feet.

Note how eyelets line up, unlike on Aldens.

Question: scoob's pictorial presents the lasts for the firsts. But what are the lasts for the seconds?
