Deconstructed suit – A deconstructed suit is a relaxed look but is pulled together. The pants and blazer can be worn separately.

^I don't think so. At least what's generally meant here on SF by the term is a jacket, suit coat or sport coat, that has little to no canvas, shoulder padding, roping and lining.

Isn't that an "unconstructed suit" which may have been what the OP meant?

^ It means this.

"There is no haircloth or chest piece and no shoulder pad- only the front canvas and some light felt to cover it."

IMO, beautiful:

I almost bought a cardigan style jacket made out of suede last fall. Too bad they were all one size too small. OTOH I might have warn it three times a year.

Hmm. I think I've heard both terms used, but definitely deconstructed.

I think so. They generally have some lining in the sleeves and some form of canvas or fusing though. Btw, I really like jefferyd's coat posted above. I have similar, thrifted one w/ flapped pockets. I like mine, but it's nowhere near as nice as his.

I'm sure there is a member who had an Eggshell Blue suit (Maybe ISIA?).

There were some pre and post tailoring pictures and it looked great. IIRC the fit pick was taken from the bottom of a staircase?

That's UrbanComposition. Although, I still thought the result was less than perfect: the suit was still a bit large on him, especially compared to his usually nearly perfect fit.

That's a suit that was reinterpreted by Jacques Derrida after having been made by someone else.

Popularized by Derrida, but really, it can refer to any suit worn by a deconstruction worker.
