Good thread topic - I have a feeling I'll get more useful ideas out of this one than its predecessor. I'm looking forward to replies that are on the dressier end (if that's even going to be possible).

I think it's impossible. The shoe issue is just too crucial. Anyway, here's something that's a notch dressier than jeans and tee... chinos and tee! Ha. No belt either, so make sure the trousers fit.

    $78 Blazer Urban Outfitters
    $5 Tee Old Navy/Target
    $40 Slim Chinos Urban Outfitters
    $35 Chucks Footlocker

    $158 Total

No jacket, but I suppose the Sapporo will keep you warm, at least for awhile.

plain white t-from target (pack of a few for $5ish)

    Levis 514 $40
    Vans Old Skool $45
    AA t-shirt $15
    AA thermal hoodie $48

    $148

I can't go outside, though, no sunglasses. Maybe I'll get the non-thermal hoodie and a pair of $7 Walgreens sunglasses.

I have $2 left for a happy hour PBR.

Could you still come up with a stylish outfit? Thrift store shopping not included. Same principle as LA GUY's thread.

    Them's the rules. [IMG]

But, you get extra credit for the dye, the spray paint, and the fact that you intend to wear socks and underwear, which most of us have ignored. [IMG]

actually those chinos go for $48, not $40, [IMG] lol! But seriously, thanks for mentioning them; I've been looking for a slim-fit, low rise chino[IMG] !
