Back when I was about 8 or 9 yrs old I was visiting my grandparents in Arizona. While we were there we went to Disneyland for a few days. When we returned to my grandparents house I saw a contest on a pepsi bottle or maybe it was a coke bottle, I can't remember, anyway the grand prize was a trip to Disneyland. Well, I loved Disneyland so much I had to enter that contest right away. A few months later I was back at home and had completely forgotten about the contet when I got a letter in the mail that told me I won the 3rd prize in the contest, a Kodak instant camera.

Years later I learned Kodak got sued for patent infringement by Polaroid for the camera I had won and recalled all the cameras. I didn't find out for years after the recal was issued so I never bothered to return the camera. I have it in a box in my attic right now.

Fuji did the same, the instax. I have one of them.

i won a raffle at a casino once a long time ago and had to spin a wheel. i won a pair of water skis, or i could get one hundred dollars. so i chose the one hundred dollars.
i also won several poker jackpot table shares (never the actual jackpot) one was the amount of 450 dollars per person on the table. of course we all proceeded to lose it back anyways.

one time i got my friend hired at the same company i was working at, the referral fee was very small. two hundred dollars. we are just desktop computer guys.

of course there are those small wins like a free coke bottle under a cap and such

I study numerology, and love it. During college, I was deep into the Illinois lottery's daily game. Each day I'd play two or three numbers, straight. Inside of four years I hit straight numbers, many many times. Each 'hit' for a dollar, returned five hundred. This was decades ago; five hundred bucks was a good little win at the time. I always had plenty of spending money, but never had a job. [IMG]

I've won the second prize in the lottery, three times. A couple thousand once, seven or eight hundred the other times. I still play the lottery, each and every week. Don't have time these days, to concentrate on numbers, so I've given up the daily game. I do miss it, though. Great fun to 'beat the machine,' and watch the right numbers pop up.
btw: I was tackled outside a gas station after a couple of men saw a cashier counting out five hundred bucks. My lottery payout. Police showed up, too.

I "won" $20 from an ATM machine. It spit out an extra bill (it was stuck to the first bill).

The bank was closed so... [IMG]

id vote for him too. i mean, internship at the airports and all those accolades.

but when he runs for candidacy and the media digs up dirt on Jet Blast, they will find out, that he was a styleforum member.

10,000$ from a casino in AC from a 75$ buy in at roulette.
a similar amount from an online casino in Antigua with a 100$ buy in that I still cant believe they paid out on.

Glad to say I have spent both sums on clothing and food and never stepped foot, literally or virtually in a casino since then.

When I interned at an ad agency, me and the other interns were split into 4 groups and each had to come up with a complete marketing strategy for the same product. My group won- $100 cash each and bragging rights.

Also, I've won some DVDs in Entertainment Weekly's monthly email raffles.

I buy the occasional lottery scratcher, most I've ever won on a single ticket was $50.

now that is a real win! i bet they took your photo and put it up on the wall with the rest of the winners?

also, i guess you can see this as a 'win' in some way:

one time a long time ago, my office was taking 10 dollars from everyone in the office to pool together and try to win the lottery which was really big at that time, like 110 million or something.
i said no, they said, cmon what are you going to do when we win ? you are going to be here all by yourself!.
i said, no problem, i'll work here by myself.
a day later, everyone was still at work. hehehe. i guess you can say i won 10 dollars.[IMG]

Running for president? Nah, my heated debate a while ago with Drizzt over the corruptness of the Chicago Police would end it all [IMG]

I'd much rather be a pilot. You can become a member of the mile-high club and not be impeached.
