Not fair to call this shoe Appreciation. Maybe low rate smut. Anyhow, here are the pics of my 1.3 million dong new shoes. About 80 bucks. These came from a factory store here, the place exports to Italy, and sells off the samples from their store. As per previous post, this apparently is the only factory that Goodyear welts shoes in Vietnam (and there is a big big shoe export business here). I have no shoe fetish, so Im pretty happy with them (esp for the money). I quite like the toe shape, although I know it wont be to the satisfaction of the boards...

Looks like a nice brown, but yeah, not the sleekest of toes. Would make a nice jeans shoe, I think.

You should run a regular thread on Vietnamese products entitled "What ******* hath wrought". Either that, or produce some Shakespearean Appreciation.

I wouldn't mind the toe as much if it weren't for the way the vamp is stitched. Never been a fan of that style, but it is particularly clunky here. And I generally defend squared off toes.

Not my thing, but that is still a rather good deal for $80.

It isn't a bad looking shoe, but the toe shape does remind me of 90s Kenneth Cole-type shoes. I agree the stitching near the lacing (vamp) is the most peculiar thing about the shoes. Color looks nice.

Ah, pic is finally working. If the toe were elongated just a little bit, 1/2 inch or so, I think they'd be great. As is, you got a plenty good deal.

Not bad. I'm sure your dong will do even better in the future. You're still young...
