1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

It was right after the Sartorial Excellence thing, but I would have imagined it would have been after the NYT article...

We sold Style Forum memberships for $50 at A Collection of Sartorial Excellence. The new members were just trying to get their money's worth. Just kidding, J. We only got $19.95.

The 110+ users as the high is definately incorrect. Perhaps its accurate as the high since the site was down and the IP went to a number.

If my memory serves me correctly the high after the NYT was 130 or 140+

I noticed this, as well - stats from the nyt bump disappeared after the server changes... sf had another spike around the radio board "invasion."

Perhaps March 7th was the day Messers Grayson rejoined us. All of him at once certainly put a load on the server.
