What handbag should my mom get ?

My mom was looking at coach but I think they're rubbish

Anything else I should help her browse for ? I only know of Dior, LV, Gucci, Bottega Veneta for the ladies

Budget around USD $500 or less i suppose she's not into high end brands but anything with good enough quality

Not exactly sure of the dimensions she is after but i can find out. Doesnt have to be bulky and massive, medium sized ones as per marc jacobs links above are fine i suppose

To be honest i dont even know what she stores in the handbag, but im guessing daily stuff like books, purse, keys, NO LAPTOP or IPAD will be stored in the bag btw

How do you mean by external labels ?

Basic colors are fine - black, brown, navy. Not looking for bright colors like red, yellow, aquamarine etc

How big does it need to be? big enough to fit everything she could ever possibly need, while on the go.

She's pretty simple to be honest, and na not to go with her shoes

Neither. For both brands, you can easily fine a nicer one in your local saks / last call / nor die rack. If you have more budget, I suggest to buy something more elegant and nicer.

For handbags, I recommend Bottega Veneta Class Woven / Chanel 2.55 or Classic Flap or Grand shopping tote / Vuitton leather ones(no patent no canvas) / Lady Dior.

If you have more money to spend, go for Hermes. My personal fav is Chanel, Lady Dior and Bottega. Some Vuitton pieces are very nice also.

The ladies absolutely love Louis Vuitton. Make sure the branding is nice and conspicuous though.

I would think a 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli Satchel would work (although it might be $200 over your budget). When you are faced with brand logos plastered over all the fashion brands (LV, burberry, Chanel etc), a well designed bag of would stand out more, hope it helps!
