What hair style is this?

Look at this picture:

Not the best example but when I got to the hairdresser what do I tell them to get like this? Short at the sides and with that same short look at the front, but longer at the back to spike up. Any name for this style or how do I describe it to them?

You should just take this picture to the stylist and tell them you want something like that. They could also tell you if it will fit the shape of your head and such well, or look good depending on the texture of your own hair.

It's called the one legged flying spider.

JK, as the poster above said, take the pic to the hairstylist. It's what I did and you won't believe how happy that will make your barber.
