What goes with "olive"?

I'm doing a crossing on QM2 in Dec, and planning my wardrobe choices.

Was wondering what color jacket goes well with olive trousers, and an olive-colored shirt?
I have an off white jacket, almost like a cream color that I wore with the above.

But since it'll be autumn/winter, want to make sure I pick the right color jacket to complement the trousers.

Does brown work, or a dark shade of tan?

Thanks for your help!

A cream of off white jacket is fine. Brown or black for autumn/winter.

Tan is the only combo I really like. Olive pants are nice, but aren't versatile

Not really into greens/olives. I mostly wear browns, greys, and blues.

Don't be too worried, few transatlantic passngers will notice clothes over much these - sea travel really is now for the masses.

I agree.

And it's a shame the choices for the right colors are limited for accessories ... brown belt, shoes, sox. (And olive sox)
But I've seen a guy wear off-white sox with olive trousers. Guess that's an option for spring/summer?

You can skip the vermouth if you are civilized

Agreed.

Although I must confess I'm still particularly partial to those vulgar 'jumbo cocktail olives'.

Call me a rube if you must.

Can you post a pic? Olive pants with an olive shirt sounds odd. A white shirt as shown above would look much better. No one mentioned bergundy shoes which I think would also go well.
