If you don't feel too AmJack doing it, Red Bull and vodka is great when you get up before 6am and are partying 'til...well, 6 am.

When I used to club, I'd pretty much order drinks to get tanked. Long Islands were the cocktail of choice, along with tequila if we were doing shooters.

When I stopped clubbing, I mostly drank beer or Scotch.

Tom Collins and gimlets are my favorite spring drinks.

You can order a manhattan on the rocks.

    When I'm sober, I'll order
A Manhattan (do others who drink these always get canadian whiskey?)
    Rum and tonic
    Makers Mark on the rocks

In the summer, I might order
Dark and Stormy, if they have good ginger beer
Caiparinha, Mojito, or Margarita, if they make a good one (nothing frozen [IMG] )
    Beer, if all else fails

When I'm drunk, I'll order a Rusty Nail and pass out.

Try Hypnotiq and Hennessy or Alize and Hennessy. They both taste great.[IMG]

I don't go to clubs anymore, but when out to a bar for the evening (usually just for a couple hours with friends prior to dinner or after, etc.): Mandarin Cosmopolitan (warm weather) Rob Roy (cold weather) and recently I tried a Grasshopper--that's a nice drink (def warm weather). I have been accused of drinking "girlie" drinks. [IMG] bob

I used to be a big vodka drinker and would get vodka on the rocks. Now I drink whiskey-based drinks including: Jack on the rocks and Crown and ginger. I'm not big on mixed drinks, for some reason.

Seems odd, but the flavor of the drink is quite different when built that way.
    Not odd.
    Just chemistry

    ....

i was going to suggest the same.

gin and tonic is my favorite highball, but careful they don't float it. that's the beauty of the martini - not much room for cheating, unless they use really slushy ice.

I am comfortable with my masculinity, so I order what I want: Cranberry and vodka, and if they ask "a twist of lime?" I say "hell yeah."
