1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

It's really great that most of the best dressed men in the world are posting in this thread, sharing their deep insights and remarkable life experiences.

    I'm kinda in awe.

If the world is SF, that guy is dooooooooomed. Long sleeve shirt rolled up is no-no, short sleeve shirt is no-no. Perhaps he can just go topless and go "come at me bro".

Wow!! Cyberdyne is actually a real company. Judgement Day, when we're taken over cyborgs.

When I searched "Power Suit" on Google, this one top of the list...

...then the rest was various cyborg, exoskeleton and gundam type things.

never wear flip-flops/sandals out in public unless at a beach/doing nautical things, in the yard, or running a quick errand. all these dudes going to town with flip-flops on just buggers the heck out of me! you don't look good, and no one wants to see your ugly ass feet!

I've never liked them except with a dinner jacket. I hate them on myself, and rarely see someone else who looks good wearing one.

It calls out to my inner economist i suppose. I think Tom Keene on Bloomberg Surveillance Midday looks good for example, among many others. Does everyone look good? Nope, but there are people who can manage to look like Hell in a charcoal suit.

I used to wear denim jacket back in the '80s but now I wouldn't be caught dead in it.

It takes a certain whimsical attitude to be able to pull bow ties off. There's only one person that I know who can and he's a senior manager at my company who on casual Fridays would wear polka dot bow ties with red jackets or other fairly loud clothing and it fits very well with his character.
