Dear all,

A couple questions:

1. What's the name of the pattern? My thought is a twill weave with heavier wool fabric.
2. I understand that grey is a difficult color to work with, but despite that, is the pattern/color/fabric suitable for a sport coat? (The jacket also featured a ticket pocket)

Thanks!

no prob! in regards to your second question, in my opinion the more textured/patterned a fabric is, the easier it is to serve as a stand alone sport coat
I understand that. One further question, though, does that mean that a jacket that is a part of a tweed/prince of wales/herringbone/windowpane suit can be worn as a sport coat provided that the fabric is not fancy?
