What is the relation then between the code on the inner label and the wash then? Say, 2-GTO-14? I really wish I could find some reference table. My favourite pair is one I found accidentally at Off Fifth

Um, well, the years are easy 01, 02, and 03, but the otherones you just gotta know. 2-GTO-14 is the Filter wash GTO, which has built in grease stains, iirc.

Of course, I've got nothing on those shoe guys on the main forum who can pick out a Edward Green 888 last from 100 paces!

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
