Is GTO just a model name? What about 1 year? I have seen 3 years too. What does it mean? Thanks.

GTO is the cut name, 1 year the wash name.

Simulates the wear on a pair of raw jeans after one year of normal use (i.e. no crazy starching, wearing every day, in the sea, etc...)

What is the relation then between the code on the inner label and the wash then? Say, 2-GTO-14? I really wish I could find some reference table. My favourite pair is one I found accidentally at Off Fifth [IMG]

Um, well, the years are easy 01, 02, and 03, but the otherones you just gotta know. 2-GTO-14 is the Filter wash GTO, which has built in grease stains, iirc.

I shop too much, have a good natural memory, and work with large datasets (for a real living). All this is put to good use here [IMG]

Of course, I've got nothing on those shoe guys on the main forum who can pick out a Edward Green 888 last from 100 paces!

Damn. I may have asked this before (I forget things really easily [IMG] ) but what are the names of the MPH and MPO model lines? They seem awfully similar to the GTO just a somwehat higher rise. Ah crap. I should just get myself some APCs and get it over with [IMG]
