what do you wear with sneakers aside from a t-shirt and hoody?

i need some ideas, i've tried throwing them on with some sweaters and nicer clothing but i can't get it right, suggestions or examples?

I'm a big fan of gingham check button-ups. Not to dressy, but you looked cleaned up. look for interesting jackets, I often like asymetrical hoodies because they look different.

Sneakers are sporty and casual, what else is sporty and casual? Varsity jackets, windbreakers, sports jackets, polo's, long-sleeve t-shirts, cardigans, down jackets/vests, stuff from Polo Ralph Lauren. Don't mean to be rude but if you can't find stuff that goes with sneakers I think you're not trying hard enough. If the sneakers are simple/subtle/classy with no chunky bits or bright contrasts, you could wear them with anything, even a suit (maybe not a tux

)

I do also often wear sneakers with turtleneck knit pullovers. For example a black not-so-fine-knit turtleneck and black suede Adidas Campus, also in black.

Leather jackets work fine too, if its not like a Diesel jacket with Puma kicks

Button-up shirts, long sleeve t-shirts, sports jackets, blazers, turtle necks, polo shirts, short-sleeved shirts, (zip-up) track suit jackets, v-neck sweaters (with shirt), shirts and vests, you name it. Anything goes with sneakers (and jeans?). I even know some people wear white sneakers with their black/navy/charcoal/gray suits.

Longsleeved shirts are ALWAYS a good way to go

And come to speak about trowsers, I've seen Berlin Report wearing some really nice chinos (from Penguin I think?) in WAYWT... Go and have a look at all his posts pre December 2008, the shot has to be in there somewhere... I could imagine them going really well with sneakers

Devote a couple of hours to flip through the WAYWT thread and you'll see a ton of great ideas there.
