What do you wear in the summer season?

Hi everyone,

I've recently revamped by winter/spring wardrobe by getting rid of alot of clothes that I wore in college for the past 4 years. I did most of my shopping at Massimo Dutti, Zara, and H&M.

My spring/winter wardrobe is fine I think... So I dont need to adjust that.

Trousers/Jeans
I own 5 slim-fit chinos: Beige, Alpine Blue, Black, Dark Blue, Brown (Zara & H&M)
1 pair of slim fit jeans: Dark blue (Uniqlo)

Summer wardrobe as of today:
5 or 6 pair of shorts in different colors
I own many t-shirts in basic colors.

I feel like it's easy to look classy and dressed up nicely in the winter. But summer time, I'm usually wearing a t-shirt with shorts. It gets very very hot here in the summer.

Should I buy myself some polo shirts to look "classier" ? I don't know... Seems like that's the trend nowadays. Or maybe short-sleeve shirts?

Short-sleeved shirts (focus on linen and lightweight cotton), polo shirts and henleys, in addition to tee shirts. (This presumes a rather young man who is in decent shape). Shorts if you must. Linen or linen-blend pants and lightweight cotton pants (such as poplin). Perhaps even cropped pants. Slim-fit traps body heat and therefore should be avoided in very hot weather.
