Agree that it works over an SC so long as it is long enough to cover it. Otherwise, also nice just to wear over a casual bd shirt and khakis.

I don't mind quilted jackets but this one looks terrible too me. Really don't like that sport coat style cut with lapels, breast pocket and no zipper - reminds me of these guys who wear leather blazers... I have been using a RL for a while but it's pretty bland. If I were to buy one today, I'd go straight for a Barbour x Tokito. Awesome jackets

I vastly prefer this to OP's quilted coat, understanding that -- while it is functionally analogous -- stylistically it's a very different sort of piece.

I like it and if it's long enough and can otherwise accomodate a sportcoat, why not? Like some of the other posters I wear my Barbour over a sportcoat although not lately.

Thanks for all your comments.

Regarding its length and whether it will cover a SC if worn over one, I think it was around 29" in length while my SCs are 30.5" though at the time when I tried it I wasnt wearing a SC. But I distinctly felt that it was a couple of inches shorter than my SC

Can this Boggi jacket still be bought? I would love to buy one. Been looking for it for awhile. Thanks
