1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

What do you think of this Polo cashmere jacket?

Hard to tell with the lackluster lighting/photography, though it looks classically styled and a pretty good value, esp. w/ an additional discount. Thoughts? http://www.bluefly.com/pages....uct+ID#

I like this jacket a lot and almost bought it when they had the outerwear sale two days ago. (When it was down to ~ $500, then could have used a 20% off code to get it down further.) I gather you could get the 20% off today if you buy two cashmere items...
I just don't need another coat. If you are looking for a coat like this, I think it's phenomenal.

I would wait on everything until after x-mas. Prices always go down.

I assume you're referring to the strap seen dangling from the collar in the picture (other than that, it looks like a pretty normal, well formed collar). I tend to concur, although this jumbled bit of the article description may make it a non-issue: "Jacket collar; snap close removable featured at neck". Is Ernest writing their copy? [IMG] I take this to mean that the snap/strap dangler is removable from the collar, which it most certainly would be if I owned the coat, never to be seen again. Any other interpretations? (Ernest...?)

Why do you say this, because you think its too full cut for its length, or because of the pockets?
