Hi guys. So I am trying to build a wardrobe and am thinking of picking up some blazers.

I currently have a navy velvet, and a black velvet...

Do you guys think this one is worth picking up? It's extremely cheap and Im not sure what I woudl match it with. But I remember seeing some pics on here with something similar that looked good. What do you think?

Fabric looks okay, but the cut is very 1980's rather than classic.

I'd ask for measurements before pulling the trigger. I don't think the cut is outlandish - the gorge isn't low and, while the button stance is low, I don't think it's low enough to look terribly dated to the average person. The glen plaid pattern on the fabric is still pretty common.

Stafford is IIRC a JC Penny's store brand, not known to be top-quality, but honestly for $18 it's not a bad deal if all you currently have are two velvet blazers.

I'd have to agree about the measurements, the length looks incredibly short for a regular.

yes you guys are right. I am in my mid 20s. I am trying to lock for solid clothes. Rahter have fewer but higher quality and better-looking. I just wanted to confirm that a "young-looking" blazer needs to have a lower cut. Also wasn't sure about the brand...

Thanks everyone, I will pass and just keep shopping
