I looked at it in-store yesterday. For $330, not a chance. For $100-150, sure, that's a fun jacket to have.

Pictures forthcoming (I hope)...I'm not an adept photographer, so don't complain. The tailor at Saks Fifth Avenue in Manhattan said I should have gone two sizes up. http://www.capelladomain.com/IMG_0315.JPG http://img111.imageshack.us/i/img0318eh.jpg/ http://img96.imageshack.us/i/img0319r.jpg/ oh well, only the blurriest and least conclusive image uploaded...great....I've had it with uploading images...It's a pain ********** to trim a 2.2 MB image down to Styleforum standards. At any rate, how do you think the jacket fits in the chest, the tailor objected to the tightness. UPDATE: notwithstanding their inherent shittyness, all the images should be working

I can't understand why a tailor in a prestigious department store recommended I take 2 sizes up? Any size 42 jacket is always sloping off the shoulders. Thank for the input.

I bought something similar years ago at Old Navy for $20. I wore it once or twice. In retrospect I could have gotten more out of it.

Sit and watch the suits some day as they walk up and down Lex or Madison.

I'd say about 80% of suits are too big in the shoulders.

Believe me I have, more than 90% of men are badly dressed. He also measured my waist to 35, and I comfortably wear size 32. I need a belt with certain 32s.

Size looks perfect to me.

That "tailor" is just used to people dressing badly and people not knowing the difference.
