first one is nice. but for that chunk of change i'd go for the somewhat similar Arcteryx Gothic Hoody.

Both are too short for seriously cold weather, though they are nice. Get something cut longer that protects your lower back and kidneys with a storm skirt to keep drafts out. I work outside in some seriously demented weather so the advice is from experience. Look at Northface's arctic parkas and you'll see what I'm talking about.

They're both OK but I'm not totally impressed with either one. I've been stuck on Moncler coats lately.

www.steepandcheap.com arcteryx stuff comes up all the time, same with northface. it updates like 2-3 times an hour, and its quality stuff. wait a week and see if something comes up on there

for serious cold weather, I'd also look at EMS. Stuff may not be as fashionable, but Its good quality for a really good price, usually
