I'm an Allen Edmonds fan, but they've created some pretty bad new designs recently trying to make their shoes more contemporary. Not a fan of this shoe, or the Winhall. I thought about buying the Weybridge, but decided in favor of some Peal/Alfred Sargents instead.

The Greenwich is not to my liking. But I would gladly purchase the Manhattan, the Evanston, the Berkely, or the SoHo. They are all on the same last. The Manhattan is offered in Saddle Brown, which looks very nice.

Like the toe box, not ecstatic, but I would buy it were it not for the brogueing. I wish AE would just stopped with the perforating.

Whoever designed this must have taken a cue or two from John Lobb Paris.

Agreed. The brogueing is just bizzarre (in a bad way).

It would appear the consensus is that the shoe fugly. My personal opinion is that the perforations look like a cartoon bouncing ball falling off the front of the shoe... but it is some visual interest, I suppose.

However, if you like the shoe sweisman, wear it in good health. I doubt too many SF'ers see you everyday, and 99% of the general population would think those shoes are very nice. If you like them, go nuts!!

If they lost the broguing, it looks like they'd have a nice wholecut. As it stands, however, I agree with everyone else; awful.
