Gents,

What do you guys think about this buttoning point? Too low? Too high? Or just right?

Personally, I am leaning towards "just right". However, the BP seems a tad bit lower than what you often see nowadays on DB's, so I thought I would ask around a bit for curiosities sake.

Thanks!

I guess it's just right, though you have long legs and both a longer jacket and a lower buttoning point wouldn't hurt. DB button stance is tricky to get right. I've recently found that a keystone 4x1 is most flattering for me, but that's because I'm fatter.

Thanks for your feedback, RDiaz. Its always enlightening to get the POV of the forum's senior members. How come the buttoning point seems to be higher nowadays then? Might this be some kind of ongoing trend, like high lapel gorges?

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
