What do you put on canned tuna to spice things up?

Being cheap and trying to drop some lbs, one of my staples is fastly becoming canned tuna. I usually get the starkist cheapy can and drain the water from it and down it with a fork. Not bad, but I could use a little variety. Do you guys put some kind of hot sauce or spices on it to liven things up?

Please no mayonaisse, bread crumbs, Tuna helper or boiled egg suggestions. I want to keep the calories/carbs to a minimum. Thanks.

a lil diced apple or jicama, red onion, red wine vinegar and olive oil does the trick.

I do the same for a quick and easy source of protein. I'll make a tuna salad using mustard, a little bit of FF miracle whip and chopped pickles/celery/red peppers etc. It's actually not bad.

extra virgin olive oil, something acidic, and the seasoning of your choice. I love old bay.

I mix it with steamed vegetables (from those awesome frozen steamed bags) and melt cheddar over it in the microwave. I eat this about three nights a week, it's got plenty of protein and nutrients and fiber from the veggies, is pretty filling for dinner and comes it at under 500 calories.

why no mayo? canola or olive oil mayo is chock-full of more good fats.

otherwise a good spicy brown mustard & some garlic (fresh or powder) will definitely add flavor without calories.

EVOO, dill, and garlic is probably my favorite though. the oil will add calories, but fwiw the benefits far outweigh the minimal calories it adds.

actually a single boiled egg will add less calories (and more protein) than a tablespoon of olive oil, come to think of it.

Tabasco smoked chipotle sauce is delicious and very low calorie. Spicy brown mustard is great too.

salsa is also a nice low calorie alternative.
