Is Monday special? I feel Friday may be different from Monday to Thursday, but Monday to Thursday is probably the same for everybody. Did someone make a casual Monday?

Have been retired now going on 4 years. So, nowadays Mondays might lead to not getting dressed at all:p seriously, though, had worked as a professional in a healthcare setting and did not alter my dressing patterns from Monday thru Friday which typically involved some sort of jacket and tie.

Monday morning uniform for me is, Navy suit (birdseye , herringbone or pinstripe ) , shirt, tie, formal shoes black, dark brown or oxblood(depends how I feel).I like to start the week on a strong note and about Thursday I move to Sport coat, tie, odd trousers, loafers. Friday is dress down where I work so chinos, oxford shirts, some sort of knitwear (polos in the summer), my Belstaff jacket at the moment , chukka boots.

Frequently, dress shirt, tie, and either dress trousers or corduroy slacks depending on the weather. Of course, a sports coat. Don't frequently do suits.

If it's really cold, I go with a turtle neck or sweater. If I wear a sweater, I don't go for a tie underneath.

Another vote for the much derided business casual. Don't know if my suits still fit. I like to feel smart but not stuffy or try-hard. Soft easy wash shirt and trouser options to avoid dry cleaning or ironing. Depending on the weather I tend to opt for
  • chukkas, brogues or boots (never sneakers)
  • Smart slim chinos, moleskin or cords
  • Casual button down collar shirt (varies from linen to cotton to flannel)
  • tie (for dress code only) usually knitted
  • sports jacket (variously linen, jersey, corduroy or tweed etc)
  • Undershirt when cold not knitwear
  • Raincoat, peacoat or overcoat, scarf as appropriate. I have also just bought a Barbour for this winter.

Proper Cloth shirt, Lululemon chino-adjacent pents, a Patagonia or white coat, and loafers. As a resident my bespoke suits and Lobb/EG/Fukuda shoes stay firmly in my closet, I dare not rock the boat.

Work from home, and generally stay put.
LL Bean wicked good moccasins; socks - Mes Chausettes Rouge, Darn Tough, or Farm to Feet; chinos from Bonobos or corduroys from Spoke / no belt; long-sleeve dress shirt unbuttoned at neck / no tie; if it's warmer, I'll roll up the sleeves, and if it's cooler, I'll add a sweater vest or a sweater. I also put a handkerchief in my front pocket to remind myself I am civilized, and if I am very lucky I remember to remove it before putting my pants in the washing machine.

I also work from home.
Hot weather - t shirt or workout t shirt and workout pants

Fall/winter - Sweat pants with a long sleeve t shirt and a hoody.
When I have to go out for more than 30 mins. Il wear jeans and a light down jacket to run errands with Grant stone boots.

Drakes cashmere cardigan, reigning champ tshirt, Lululemon ABC pants.

I work from home so that’s pretty much every day in the fall/winter :)

As with many questions, my answer depends on the situation and what I've got going that particular Monday.

Primarily, I work virtually. Typically, Mondays are home office days and Zoom-intensive. Thus, I'm well-dressed (button-down shirt or knit polo) from the waist up, and, depending on the season, my other half is clad in shorts, joggers, or flannel jammy bottoms.

For face-to-face meetings on Mondays (breakfasts or lunches), I wear a sports jacket, shacket, or sweater -- sans tie. These days, neckwear is reserved for speaking engagements.
