Man, those pictures make me want to go back & visit Ukraine again, it's been 7 years since I went. My dad goes almost every year to work with a church in Zhitomir and I was lucky enough to go with him once. Kiev was also really beautiful, I enjoyed it a lot.

That opera house looks familiar...

I've visited L'viv three times so far, and it's always a great time. One nice thing is that it doesn't get nearly the number of visitors as you'd find in somewhere like Prague or Kraków, so I find that the interactions with the locals are very genuine and it's a much less touristy experience. Though my Ukrainian is extremely limited, I found that wasn't much of a problem.

Ukrainian food is fantastic, too!
