What do you know about Five Four Jeans?

I did a search here but couldn't find anything on this brand. I found what looks to be a good a deal on a pair of these on a discount web site and thought I'd run their name by here to see if anyone has any knowledge of their jeans or jackets.

I need a decent pair of dark jeans to hold me over for a while and figured I'd give these a try. The listing just shows they're straight leg and raw. No garrish pockets or stitching. The site claims they run $113 but are marked down to $50.

Anyone?

I think it's a brand with a rather urban aesthetic so you're probably looking at a very loose fit. For 50 bucks I'd recommend going going with some Levi's STF instead of a questionable "fashion" brand.

I'm 90% sure it's owned by the same company that owns the Monarchy Brand.

Is that a bad thing? From what I see of Monarchy they are ultra-urban, super hip, bad-ass [blah, blah, blah]. These jeans in comparison are very tame and understated.

Quality-wise... Yay? Or nay?
