Thanks for the comments.

Thing is I've been looking for a bag to go to work for a while and my gf saw this on the internet. She likes it as in she thinks it looks good on me. She insisted on buying it for me at the outlet.

Btw, from what I've read, I think some of you think that this is a small bag... it's actually kind of big and it's 12.5" X 12". The reason that I can't just give it to my gf is because of the size and I was thinking of selling it. Given that it's a gift, I think it's not the best thing to do..

Looks great now all you need to do is find the matching pumps.

Might be easier just to give to the gf.

Here's a better pic that shows the size and how it looks on me

Too big. Chavvy strap. Too feminine for a man; too masuline for a woman.

Let's move the discussion to your shirt.

On edit: Also, is that the non-buckle end of your belt "in front" of your left forearm?

i hate it less now, and I withdraw my previous comment - it does not look like my ex's bag at all....hers was like a quarter that size.

The strap is the worst part.

The last picture helps clear things up a bit.

I'd say the bag falls in the "man bag" category. The strap is branded very loudly, and here that's a big no-no.

I'd just go for a simple briefcase with a shoulder strap.

I have a soft sided briefcase in that same fabric. The OP clearly dresses quiet casually so I don't think he should wear a briefcase. I have a soft sided briefcase in that same fabric and it doesn't look very good with casual clothes.

Just looking through this, some down time at work right now

...... I think if the bag was wider (almost like a laptop carrying case), it would look better. I like the check and do not think it's ostentatious or effeminate at all.
