I like Chukka's but from the photo's the sole/heel looks a little light for the shoe, and the front is too rounded, but it could just be the photos. Take a shot of them off your feet.

they're not bad looking, given that they're KC's, but I've never thought the construction quality was all that good.

yea, their kc black label, whatever that means. handmade in italy, also whatever that means for kc's. but i got them very cheap and i thought they looked nice, so we'll see how things turn out. worst comes to worst, they look good for a winter or two and i get myself a nicer pair in 2 years.

I think that means that someone in Italy puts the glue by hand...
or maybe that someone in italy used their hands to put the pieces on the machine that puts the glue...

I think they look fine for exactly how you were wearing them today, with jeans. You seem to understand that they will not last you longer than a year or two, and if you are fine with that, you did OK. The toe is a little too rounded for me, but I like the color.
