The most important drink to remember...

When you find that really strong cigar, and you lips start tingling, and after a couple of puffs you start to feel a little nauseous...that's an overload of nicotine--sugar water will cure the displeasure...soda pop works well, too.

(And I don't care who you are or how long you've smoked...we all come across the feeling every now and again.)

I like a good sipping tequila or smooth rye whiskey, and then anything a bit sweet to accompany it. Otherwise a bottle of water when out and about works fine as well.

Scotch. The cigar sweetens the scotch. After smoking, I like to have coffee. All the flavors -- cigar, scotch, and coffee -- tend to meld into this great flavor.

I smoked a cigar once with a pint of Guiness in a Kill the Brits pub in Londinium.

Coca Cola or root beer goes the best with a cigar, followed by port and coffee.

I like tequila, bourbon and dark rum, served neat with my cigars. With tequila I prefer the premium blancas. With rum and bourbon I like the ones that have a hint of a sweet, rich coca cola-like after taste.

I'm not a fan of scotch. That probably had to do with sneaking bottles of the stuff along on Boy Scout camp outs when we were 12. It was not a pleasant experience.

pretty much anything, from liqours(whisky, cognac etc. ) to wine and beers... To me the challenge isnt as much as what goes best with a cigar period, but what at that moment goes better with which cigar and perhaps which food....just to illustrate; with todays hot weather is an erdinger weissbeer with a fuente 858, yesterday was an MC edmundo with a white wine..
