Yeah, I figured as much. My point is... it seems odd to me that you'd consume that combination of separate drinks in an hour at the bar. Is this nighttime you're talking about? Middle of the day? It could be a cultural thing, but I don't think I've ever seen someone out at a bar consume cognac, coffee, and soda in a single relatively quick amount of time.

Tonight - seven half-liter bottles of water.

We don't make Jagerbombs as actual bombs - just a shot of Jager and Red Bull. They're gross, and the hangover can suck ass, but I've pretty much lost interest in shots so I'll do whatever. The owner likes to pour bombs, so bombs I'll do. (Until now, obviously. On the wagon 'til I'm happy with my life/health/body/etc.)

Depends which hour....

Hour 1: two or three beers (usually guinness because it is less filling)
Hour 2: two or three beers
Hour 3: one or two beers
Hour 4: one or two beers and a shot
Hour 5: one beer, one or two shots
Hour 6: water, one or two shots
Hour 7: water (if I'm still in a condition where I'm willing to be out in public)

My thoughts exactly. Big night, slow night, driving/not driving, acquaintances/drinking buddies, classy joint/dive bar, etc.

Under ideal circumstances, a pint to quench my thirst and bourbon on the rocks to get me going; then for the rest of the half hour some kind of variation of that depending on the mood. Most nights it's stick to bourbon, others I'm just thirsty.
