What do you do about arch support for your dress shoes?

So I recently started my rotations and purchased some of those ugly Dansko clogs to wear with scrubs and came to learn that arch support is what I've been missing my entire life. So I bought some PowerStep inserts for my New Balances, but I'm not sure what to do about my dress shoes since none of them have removable insoles. What do you do if your dress shoes don't provide adequate arch support?

Get a very thin insole (possibly just a half-length) than you just stick on top. (God knows why $300+ shoes don't have removable insoles.

I have Spenco arch support inserts in some of my shoes.

I wear custom orthotics to provide arch support and had to go up 1/2 size to accommodate them (not very helpful, I know).

If you decide to use an insert, buying a shoe stretcher on ebay might be worthwhile. I've been able to expand the width of some shoes by about 1/2 size.
