What do you call a tie like this??

I noticed some ties like this in a british style genius documentary. Also see them on old American country singers. But I don't know what they are called so i don't know how to look for one.
Can anyone help?

Ribbon tie. D&G had them in their fall 2010 collection. I was expecting them to come back but haven't seen much else. Zara had them as well.
