I've had my eye on one at BB and they always seem to look good in fashion spreads I see in magazines.

I'm interested to see what others think. Do any of you have them? Wear them? Thought and opinions appreciated.

I've seen them look very good on others. I don't particularly like them for myself.

I have a RLPL Glen Plaid tie. I think it's gorgeous and wear it with a navy suit. Very subtle and distinguished. I bought it NWT off a guy who purchased it for his groomsmen. I kind of have a Glen Plaid fetish, though.

I like them. Just make sure the rest of your outfit is fairly simple.

Same here. I've liked them in magazine spreads, but translating them to regular wear can be tough. They tend to make anything but the simplest combinations look very busy, and I don't find them interesting enough on their own to want to build a whole outfit around them.

Take Ed's example and pass the puzzle on, first come, first served.

I own a RL Black Label tie I got off Ebay for $30. It's a very cool color (cream and brown) and a bit skinnier than normal.

I haven't worn it yet, but I plan on doing the "Manton" and wearing it to my cousin's wedding with a navy suit.
