Not really sure what I'm supposed to do but I know what I do. I'm a chartered accountant and used to work in corporate finance but somehow I've ended up in a role in Business Strategy and Development, which means I spend most of my time stopping senior executives in the business from pursuing ideas that they think are good but which are, in fact, bad.

Tip: make sure you tell the bankers interviewing you that what you really want to do is get trained there and leave for a HF job as soon as you become somewhat of an efficient worker. They'll appreciate your candor and honesty.

I used to enjoy a job very similar to this... except I sold pot to buy food.
