What do the different Tom Ford "base" letters mean?

I'm going to be heading to New York this summer and am hoping to get lucky and find some Tom Ford suits at Century 21. I know my size, but I'm not sure what the different bases stand for. Would any of you fine gentlemen who wear Tom Ford be willing to enlighten me?

Try them on if you find any, it seems like there is a fairly wide range of fitting in their different cuts.

Base A = loosest fitting
Base B = slim fit for American market
Base C = slim fit for European market (and slimmer than Base B)
Base D = Base B with 1/2 or no lining

That is so very disappointing. Do you know the reason why, Spoo?

Tom Ford is the worst brand, if you are looking for any sort of discount especially 75% off) - you will have better luck with Zegna and Pal Zileri
