Are you looking for something of spectacular quality, or just something moderately nice looking? I'd lean toward thomasville for something made decently.

It doesn't have much internet know-it-all snob appeal, but its nicer then R&F and they have better sales.

I want something that looks great and has great quality (what most SF'ers are looking for in most things) - that's why I turned here for input. Much appreciated SkinnyGoomba.

Hope to hear from others as well.

I got the idea to ask about this here after Binge posted his nice wooden and leather lazy boy chair.

Buy a simple headboard/footboard wood or metal frame and if it is high enough to allow storage beneath that's even better.

Nothing wrong with a leather headbord. I have one for a year and a half now. Still looks as new. The boxsprings are upholstered in leather as well. This is a picture of the model of my bed :

And why storage under a bed? That's nice if you live in a dorm room...

Your shoes aren't necessarily made out of the same grade of leather as that bed... then again, they well could be.

Men justify the worst things with this. Ugly cars, nose rings, Oakley's, goatees, I could go on.

Looks kinda cheap and something I would see in a apartment in the ghetto.

Of course I bought a bunch of AICO furniture 2 months ago and it's kinda cheap compared to Theodore Alexander which to outfit my whole place was out of my price range for now. So who am I to judge?

Which ghetto are you referring to?

Not my taste, but I think it looks fine.
