What do I need to tell my tailor?

Hey guys, Few months back I purchased a Ck slim suit, roughly around $500. I use to think it fit great, until I started seeing some more modern fit, better tailored suits. I don't wear suits often, but eventually want to invest in some. I recently came across this image on a blog. The first image is very close to what the suit looks like on me, except my jacket is a bit slimmer in the Torso. I was wonder what would I need to tell my tailor to have my suit fit like the one on the right? sleeves narrowed? Pants slimmed and hemmed shorter? any idea how much tailors charge for this?

Thanks in advance.

Shoulders and waist taken in, sleeves and pants tapered. Also the jacket may need to be shortened.

It all depends on the shoulders, everything else is "tailorable". Of course, the shoulders can be tailored but it requires alot of time.

If your suit looks like what's on the left and want to look like what's on the right, then better off buy a new suit.

I think the shoulders are good on the jacket, and I think the jacket looks great, tho I think I might need to shorten my jacket a little...I wear a 33 in shirts, any idea how short my sleeve on the jacket should be?

My pants seem to really bug me, I just feel like I have Mc hammer pants

I'm going to swing by the tailor later today, and ask for the pants and sleeves to be tapered. Thanks.

I think the shoulders look fine. They are in proportion to the model's head and are a tad wider than his hips. I wouldn't want them any wider, but I think they look fine. Consider this good because although they can be narrowed, it is costly are requires some skill on the part of the tailor.

There is no way we can give you tips on having your suit tailored by looking at another suit on a model regardless of how similar you think the fit is.
