i am thinking of buying these Black faded jeans:

But before i do buy them, , i am a bit unsure what would go well with them?

Im a 27 year old man, so usually wear casually denim jeans, creme jeans, brown boat shoes, casual shirts/sweaters, lightweight jackets

What do others think these jeans would go well with, casually - so to the shops, cinema, restaurants, bars/pubs,
im not sure what colors best suit them?
Also what footwear and color footwear is best suited?

Are these type of jeans suited for a 27 year old man?

Are they a staple fashion item?

    thanks

Sorry chap, but they're pretty awful in my opinion.

However, as people always say, if you like them, go for them. I can't envisage shoes that would match them though...

I wear them with a white T-shirt when I am working on my car. Wouldn't wear them outside of the garage, though.

    Really?

i recall being told on another thread that faded black jeans were a stable fashion item?

    or are they a uniquetaste/look?

does this mean jeans are never suitable/versatile in black?

I guess it depends on who you talk to, there are shed loads of posters on here, all of whom may have a differing opinion on what looks good and what constitutes a wardrobe essential.

For me, a nice pair of slim-fit dark blue jeans is a wardrobe staple; I don't spend loads of money on jeans and most of mine are from Uniqlo. I'm the same age as you and I can wear them with smart shoes and a shirt (open collar, no tie) for a nice smart-casual look. They can also be worn with a pair of Adidas (Kick, Beckenbauer, ZX750 are the ones I wear) when going to a gig or a rugby/football game. So, I think they're a stylish and versatile item.

The bottom line is; if you think they look good and you can get a look that you're happy with from them, go for it. If you're unsure then don't waste your money.

    Anyway, I'm rambling.

    ok thanks, points taken,
to be honest i can't think of many thing that would go well with the black jeans, especially footwear,

so ill stick to just different shades of blue denim and creme chinos,

I prefer my blue jeans as well. But on a casual hot day in Sydney I'm usually in chinos or slacks.

When it comes to black jeans I prefer pairing with intense reds and oranges, the likes of which you can only find when the jeans are thrown into a fire.

Seriously though, I think you'd have a much easier time getting an answer over in streetwear. We're all too much of geezers over here to really appreciate something like black denim.

I think black is an universal color, it fits with almost all colors. But in my opinion its perfectly fits with blue....any shade of blue. !!!
