Leather jacket from Banana Republic, and money. I am using it to stock up on dress clothes for my new job. Got some dress pants, sport coat. Need to get some new shirts, ties, shoes soon also.

Bespoke herringbone pants, flat front, brownish red, planned as an absolute surprise by my husband.

Still another gift certificate from Bergdorf to add to my stores. Can't use it because my wife (not me) decided against going to New York this Christmas season. Had hoped to add to my stock of grey flannel trousers at saletime. Oh well-my dad tells me that the weather is cold, dark and grim in NYC. Happy Holidays to all of you and hope we are all having fun, with or without desired new goods.

Nothing sartorially interesting, unfortunately. My wife and immediate family either (or both) seem to think I have more than enough clothes, etc. or can't imagine spending $150+ on a mere cotton shirt.

Virtual Clothes. It was all the rage this holiday season; I'm surprised nobody got them. Basicly you mount a projector to your shoulders and it projects a hologram on your body, changeable on a whim. Right now I've got it set on 'Joe Boxer.' Everybody thinks I'm comfortable as hell, but they have no idea.

I am still a child, but didn't get anything either.

Maybe we could make a "what did you get yourself for xmas" thread. I got myself a sweet suit. Just hope it fits.

What I got that I needed: I got a 200GB LaCie external Hard Drive and a new battery for my 12" PowerBook. The old one wasn't holding a charge. What I got that I didn't want or need but still think it is pretty damn cool: Season one of The Dukes of Hazzard on DVD What I got that I wanted but not quite: a 7" Henckels Santoku knife a 10" Cutco Chef's knife (I need a chef's knife and would love to have a Santoku, but I am planning on either returning or eBaying these for Wusthofs. Contact me if you're interested.) Some Williams-Sonoma cookbooks A Sharper Image barbecue fork with built-in thermometer from my friend who was a Senior Salesperson there. What I bought myself: a manicure/pedicure at the local Aveda spa a set of 500 11.5 gram clay composite poker chips a pair of Lucky Jeans a pair of Diesel Jeans a new sublet in Roscoe Village (Chicago) What I still plan on buying myself: a vintage leather cafe racer jacket a pea coat a pair of Dayton boots

I'm so not going to touch that one.

At any rate, I celebrate Christmas on January 7 so no presents for me yet. What do I want? Nothing...I got enough stuff.
