OK, answering this thread implies that you also GAVE some good gifts-- but interested to see what sartorial items people rec'd for Xmas.

I rec'd two cool gifts this year, both as stocking stuffers:

Bang & Olafsen headphones for my ipod

Smythson of Bond Street "Panama" featherweight planner diary, in black calf leather with gold tipped corners. The leather/ scent of the leather reminds me of a pair of Lobb shoes-- the perfect, affordable, sartorial gift for a forum member like me!

Of relevance to the forum, I received season one of 'Jeeves & Wooster' and Cary Grant: A Celebration of Style.

The only sartorial gifts I got were a nightshirt, pajama pants, and slippers. Wow. :-/

I, however, got the Star Trek movie collection, so that makes up for it.

My primary sartorial gift was a grey Gloverall duffel coat. I couldn't love it more.

a dark charcoal/black HSM cashmere overcoat with a cashmere scarf. seems fitting: bought the spousal unit another fur coat.

You lucky dogs. But I guess I hardly have a time to wear such coats where I live anyways.

Nothing sartorially distinctive today, apart from a set of platinum/onyx cufflinks. But they've got Montblanc written on them in fairly large letters, so will likely exchange them for something less branded.

I did get a pretty dogtooth patterned cashmere scarf as a gift the other day though.
