Can't find any tasting rooms open that late. Most of the time they're only open til 5 pm, and that being Christmas weekend means even less luck. There will be plenty of decent to nice bars to do a barcrawl. All within 3 blocks of the hotel.

Roikins, to make you more jealous: Today, they were prepping for the truffle dinner Wednesday. I had a plate of white truffle ice cream and truffle macaroons.

Just had lunch with my ex, and didnt take a pic of it (since "I'm taking pictures of gutterfood for strange men on the internet" would probably make her wonder what had become of me in the 366 days since we broke up) but just had com heo quay for lunch...basically rice with fried pork. The place where we went specialises in Hainanese Chicken Rice - meaning they serve it with this yellow rice that is prepared in chicken stock. It is really good.

I had supper at my parents. As an apatizer, we had beet soup followed by a crab cake with a dollop of tartar sauce. We then proceeded to having the main course; tuna steak with brussel sprouts and baby zuchinni
