Did the ramen at Arami last night.

I have not had much ramen that didn't come with a "flavoring" packet...but damn that was good

Ate at some Korean outpost of a famous Japanese youshoku-ya. Had a hamburg steak/curry rice combo platter, a caesar salad, french onion soup; it was horrifically bad.

My girlfriend made orzo with sundried tomatoes and fresh basil, and black eyed peas with kale. I made cupcakes for dessert.

That looks nice. Perhaps it should be slightly darker, but good job.

Perhaps. I lost power, and, unfortunately, I have an electric range, so that was cooked outside over the grill.

"Dover" is simply the name of the particular species of flatfish. "True" Dover sole is found in the Eastern Atlantic, unlike the Pacific "sole" that is sold under the same name here in the states (which is actually not sole at all, but flounder). That fish is a distinctly different species with a less firm flesh and isn't nearly as good as the real thing.
