Pork medallions with apple cider burre blanc, garlic mashed potatoes, and corn fritters.
    That's an inspired repast. Yum.

I went a little overboard tonight.
    • Pan-seared flounder fillet smothered in rosemary, sage, thyme, salt, pepper, and lemon juice
    • Mediterranean salad (one of those pre-packed Dole Organic numbers) with rotisserie chicken
    • 1/2 of sandwich: cracked pepper turkey and extra sharp cheddar on a whole wheat roll.
    • Glass of Coke Zero.
Also cooked up some chicken cordon blue with an asiago cheese topping, but those were for my parents.

you will soon weigh as much as the woman in your avatar. I've been a lazy ass since coming back from vacation. I've hardly cooked anything. I've been eating chips and frozen burritos and peanuts and bagels and cream cheese and nutella sandwiches. I need to stop being a lazy ass. I'm gonna do a french onion soup and leg of lamb on the weekend i think. I'm also procrastinating on dumping my gf. I feel bad but it has to be done. [IMG]

Fried up the remainder of the Chorizo with some chopped garlic and onions and ate with cheap whole wheat bread. I read I needed to fry Chorizo in low heat to prevent burning which I tried but even with 15mins on low heat it turned out undercooked on the inside, so I microwaved for about 1.5mins. It wasn't bad

Bought the "Chili Starter" (a jar of all the liquid stuff, tomatoes, chilis, seasoning, etc.) at Williams Sanoma. Made it with 1.25 lbs of stew meat cut into very small cubes and a finely chopped jallapino pepper. It was perhaps the best chili I have ever had. I'm going to buy more of it tomorrow.

Doesn't that take like... 2-3 days to prepare? Or am I mistaken?
