    i had a bowl of rice, some grilled chicken breast, jalapenos and sahmjang, kimchi, and a small bowl of leftover dehngjahng chigae gook.

    honestly

    Chicken Ramen noodles
    a simple salad
    a turkey sandwich
    an apple
    2 glasses of milk
    a handful of pretzels

    but it was more of a late lunch than supper.

    last nite i had a bowl of rice, grilled piece of salmon, small cut pieces of kalbi rib, some raw brocolli , jalapeno, kimchi, samjahng, and some doongooleh tea.

    Pork chops with serrano ham, onions and garlic
    Meatballs (beef and bacon) and red peppers
    sherbet and "bark" (crackers/butter/brown sugar base topped with chocolate)

    Picnic in the park with my wife and two young songs -- we loaded up the stroller and red wagon and walked from the house -- as it was a perfect day here in the Philly area.

    USDA Prime Strip Steaks, prepared on the charcoal grill
    Baked sweet potatoes
    Corn on the Cob, prepared on the grill
    Fruit salad
    Henril Abele NV Champagne
    1992 Philip Togni Cab Sauv

    and of course, PB&J and tater-tots for our 4 year-old!

    I stopped by the soft opening of Perilla, the place of Harold Dieterle (winner of season 1 Top Chef), while walking through the West Village. It's very "farm fresh" American with some Pacific (Asian) influences.

    +Maui onion soup with jumbo oyster and fava beans
    +Ricotta stuffed raviolli with shaved bourdeaux truffles
    +Strawberry confit with barley custard and lemon-pineapple foam
