1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Can you believe I've been in Cincinnati for like 4 years and haven't gone? This is on my TO DO list.

Kwilk was chuckling at my use of Splenda.

I do not want to mess up enjoyable threads but I've had enough of his constant jabs at me and am about to end it.

Food fight? You know Pio, you could just put him on ignore. I used to like Rambo's posting but he's getting very annoying in this threak. First, sour cream vs. creme fraiche now this....Oh! The humanity![IMG]

Chops sticks have killed many a man: [IMG]
The only reason chopsticks killed anyone in this picture is because they couldn't find a fork and they starved to death [IMG]

The plate in the picture with the stix is mine. I'm pretty good with them. Had no choice but to learn...or face hunger at times. [IMG]

[IMG] Salmon en papillote. This was my first time using this cooking method but not the last. Really good. Served with Israeli couscous and steamed green beans.

I thought I would try to make my own mozzarella cheese for dinner. Took a gallon of whole milk and added some citric acid. Heated to 90F, added renet, let sit and got curds:

Drain the whey, heat some more, then stretch and form into balls you plop into ice water to cool:

Make something to eat with it:

Noice. I'm going to do that this summer when my tomates are ripe for picking. A little basil from my garden and some homemade mozzeralla would be perfect.

    Thanks, guys [IMG]

I have a plan that by Xmas I want to have a BLT sandwich where I've made the entire thing except for laying the eggs for the mayo and raising the pig for the pork belly I'll turn into bacon myself.
