    Leek and goats cheese tart with a mixed bitter green salad.

    With Etton Mess for dessert.

    Washed down with a NZ clean skin Pinot Noir.

    Mixed mushroom risotto with homemade stock, garlic, fresh rosemary and dried oregano and chili. With Pecorino Romano and goat cheese, Irish butter and a Braidwood black truffle mixed through prior to serving. Served with a bitter green organic salad and rocket from my garden with EVO and white balsamic dressing.


    Washed down with a 2017 Adelaide Hills The Remarkable State Pinot Noir.

    For me, nothing fancy. Spaghetti squash flavoured with garlic and sofrito, chorizo, and shrimp.

    Quick AirBnB supper courtesy of my girlfriend- Bream/Dorada with vegatables. With Sicilian Fiano by Planeta which was really really good but proved too powerful for the dish. Well something to remember for next time.

    Home again after a four day break in Sydney with Mrs GF eating, drinking and listening to Rock n Roll, watching the footy finals and enjoying a couple of major art exhibitions with friends.

    Bought a bunch of Basil at the market on Sunday so tonight the first Pesto spaghetti of spring, with a mixed green salad from the backyard, dressed with EVO, S&P and white balsamic vinegar.

    Washed down with a Tasmanian 2017 Stefano Lubiana Primavera Pinot Noir.

    For dessert Strawberries, Raspberries and Blueberries macerated in lemon juice, sugar and gin served with whipped cream.

    Crisp Tofu Katsu which had been marinated in soy, sesame oil and garlic then baked. Served with grilled asparagus and oyster mushrooms and a salad of picked ginger, fresh rocket and pickled red cabbage dressed in EVO and fresh lime juice.

    Inspired by Ottolenghi and the NYT food section.

    Fresh deep sea South Coast NSW Bass filets oven baked with lemon slices EVO and Murray River Salt. Served with a salad of kohlrabi & granny smith apple julienned with thin sliced fennel & spring onions, fresh mint & coriander, garlic, dried green chilli. Dressed EVO Lemon & lime juice and Murray River Salt.

    For dessert a coconut cream caramel and whipped cream.
