I got mine at $99. Would recommend. Haven't used it much, but made some good barbacoa and bang bang chicken.

Tonight a roast chicken with baked spuds, pumpkin brussel sprouts and cauliflower. The herbivore had veg schnitzel with mushroom sauce. Followed by a self saucing chocolate pudding with coconut vanilla ice cream.

Washed down with The Parish Yarra Yelley PN 2015 and a rather forgettable Merlot from the Central West of NSW.

Made a spectacular chicken curry last night:

    • Real chicken - not the frozen one
    • Butter
    • Olive Oil
    • Double Cream
    • Onion
    • Garlic
    • Green pepper - deseeded
    • Salt / black pepper / coriander powder / turmeric
Take 2 tsp butter + 1 tsp of olive oil in a deep dish pan and medium heat.
Saute 1 full diced onion and 6 cloves of crushed garlic until the oil separates.
    Add the deseeded green pepper.
Add Salt + black pepper + coriander powder + turmeric.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Add chicken. Mix.
Add water until chicken is submerged.

let this sit for 25 minutes on medium heat. Once done, add cream.

Had it like chicken soup with real chicken pieces.

This is both nourishing and soul-enriching.

Tonight mixed truffle mushroom risotto. Swiss Browns, Shiitake, Endoki.

Thawed the stock out from the freezer and grabbed a mixed greens salad from the backyard. Dressed with lemonade lemon juice, local EVO and Murray River salt.

Washed down with a 2012 d'Arneberg The Laughing Magpie.

Next week is the last week for Truffles.(sob) And Sunday is Fathers Day in Oz. Boy is in Thailand and Mrs GF taking me to dinner Saturday night. So I'm thinking twice baked cheese souffl├ęs. What hard cheese would work best with a truffle? Have used a variety of goats in sauces with truffles. Any suggestions?

Served with a mixed green salad from veggie garden with EVO, lemon juice & Murray River salt and baked Brussel sprouts.

Washed down with Mornington Peninsula Paringa Estate Peninsula Pinot Noir 2015. Gave it four hours to breathe, bliss.

For desert Mrs GF made an Granny Smith and mixed berry crumble with coconut ice cream.

Tomorrow gut buster session at the gym.

My friends made some pasta with vegetables, easy but very tasty. I want to try to cook some Thai dishes at home soon. Do you have experience? Which one did you cook?
